Post 211 Proudly Congratulates Vaelyn Solorio, 2025 Flower Festival Second Runner-Up

The Lompoc Valley Flower Festival is one of our community’s most cherished traditions, bringing together the beauty, spirit, and talent of the Lompoc Valley. This year, American Legion Post 211 was honored to sponsor one of the outstanding contestants for Flower Festival Queen—Vaelyn Solorio—and we are proud to share that she was named second runner-up in the 2025 competition.

From the very beginning, Vaelyn represented Post 211 with grace, confidence, and a deep sense of community pride. Whether she was participating in official festival events, meeting residents, or simply greeting well-wishers along the parade route, she carried herself as a true ambassador for our Post and for Lompoc.

As a member of the 2025 Queen’s Court, Vaelyn joined Queen Jomelyza Wilhelm, first runner-up Madison Koff, and the other princesses at a variety of public appearances, including a special visit to the Lompoc Valley Medical Center’s Comprehensive Care Center. There, she and the Court brought joy to residents and staff, showing that the Flower Festival Royalty is about much more than wearing a crown—it’s about giving back, lifting spirits, and strengthening community bonds.

While the crown ultimately went to Queen Jomelyza, Vaelyn’s achievement as second runner-up is a testament to her character, charm, and commitment to representing her sponsors with honor. We could not be more proud of her dedication, her kindness, and the positive example she set throughout the festival season.

Congratulations, Vaelyn, on your well-earned place in the Flower Festival Court. Post 211 is honored to have supported you, and we look forward to watching your continued success as you carry forward the spirit of service and community pride.
