Hello to all Post 211 members. I hope everyone is safe and healthy.
During the General membership meeting on the 13th of May, we will be taking nominations for Commander, 1 st Vice Commander, 2nd Vice Commander and Sergent at Arms. To nominate a person that person must be present and willing to accept the nominations After the nominations are completed, we will be voting for new officers.
During the General membership meeting of the Sons of American Legion on the 14th of May, they will be taking nominations for Commander, 1 st Vice Commander, 2nd Vice Commander and Sergent at Arms. To nominate a person, that person must be present and willing to accept the nominations. After the Nominations are completed; they will be voting on new officers. Come out and support our Queen Candidate Nicole we have several functions on the calendar for May:
Queen Bake sale every Tuesday in May during the weekly card drawing. Pre-sale tickets are now being sold for our Flower Queen Candidate chicken BBQ on the 16th of May. Dinners include ½ Chicken, beans, salad and bread. Tickets are $20.00 each, come out and support our Candidate. There will also be a Queen Candidate dinner on the 22nd of May, Chicken Piccata, noodles, Veggies and a roll; price will be $20.00.
Queen horse races will be on 28 May 26 at 7:00; dinner will be served between 5pm and 7pm, we will be having trip tip sandwiches and fries. $15.00 Reminder the horse races are for all the queen candidates. Memorial Day Services will be at Evergreen Cemetery at 11:00 on May 25. Looking for volunteers to help set up and tear down. We will be having lunch at the post afterwards, looking for volunteers to support with the lunch. Well, that is about it for now. Hope to see you all around the post.
