On May 25th, 2026, the American Legion Post 211 Auxiliary-Sons of American Legion-Riders held a Memorial Day ceremony at Evergreen Cemetery. The distinguished guest speaker was Lieutenant Colonel Andrel Singleton from Vandenberg Space Force Base. Other notable attendees included James Mosby, Jeremy Ball, and Dirk Starbuck. Several local organizations presented wreaths as part of the ceremony. Approximately 100 people attended the event, and a complimentary lunch was provided afterwards at the post.
